Workshop

We take you through the following steps

Step1:
Pick your Kanji and Colors of Paint and T-Shirt

The image below are some poular Kanji examples. Of course, you can also choose other Kanji/ Hiragana/ Katakana or combinations of charaters of your choice.

We have a wide color range of paints and T-Shirts you can choose from.

Step2:
Practice on Washi (Special Japanese Paper)

Get comfortable with the Japanese brush and strokes. Do not worry too much....we tell you all the tips and hints you need!

Washi is characterised by its high degree of cellulose polymerisation, the use of long ligneous fibres as raw material and the paper-making method of nagashizuki, which produces uniquely thin and tough paper.

Step3:
Draw the Kanji on your T-shirt

Finally, draw it on the T-shirt of your choice! Relax...the draft/outline is provided on the T-Shirt.

Bonus:

Enjoy Authentic Japanese Treats

After making your own Kanji T-shirt, you have some seasonal Japanese snack.
