At Tokyo EdoHakuyo 江戸白陽, we walk you through every single step of authentic Japanese Calligraphy experience all in English or Chinese.  So, there is NOTHING to worry about and all you need to bring is simply yourself.  You learn the profound meanings and interesting histories of Kanji - the logographic Chinese characters adapted from the Chinese script used in the writing of Japanese - of your choice.  Our workshop is fun and suitable for all ages and ALL are welcome - you can join solo or with friends and family.  After the T-Shirt making activity, you enjoy Japanese treats.  We sincerely hope that our workshop will remain as a fun part of your memory visiting Tokyo, Japan.

How our Workshop works: 

YOKO SASAKI SENSEI, 佐々木陽子先生 is a Japanese Calligraphy Instructor with 12 years of experience in teaching calligraphy. She is known for her comprehensive teaching style and wonderful hospitality. She is fluent in English and also teaches English to Japanese students of all ages - children and adults. Calligraphy may look too complicated and difficult for some bigginers but she believes in offering fun workshops/classes and she knows how to transform "difficult" into "fun and interesting" - like a magic!
